More about the stove

Dimensions: H: 605mm x W: 440mm x D: 320mm. Weight: 78kg. 5kw heat output

This multi fuel woodburning stove part of our Alpine Collection of traditional stoves is ideal for the small to medium sized room. It is a high quality log burner that will provide natural and environmentally friendly warmth and light to your room.  The stove in this package comes with a 1 meter length of enamelled pipe as standard and any other flue parts that you select from the drop down menus.

What is the flue liner?

The flue liner is used to line your existing chimney to create a sealed flue system. It simply drops down your existing chimney and attaches to your stove. Select the length of flue liner that you require, using the drop down box above. The flue length should be the length between the stove outlet pipe and the top of the chimney, remembering to allow for some extra as the liner can be easily cut down but can't be lengthened once cut. The flue liner is 316L Grade solid fuel rated flue liner with a full 10 year warranty.

What's the difference between the flue kits

We offer two different flue kits - both completely taylored to this stove. For full details, please see the tabs at the bottom of the page.

The basic installation kit gives you everything you need to fix the chimney liner but no chimney cowl. To install the basic kit you will need to remove your chimney pot and re-cement it after installation.

The kit with the hanging cowl is easier to install and does not require removal or re-cementing of the chimney pot, the hanging cowl sites of top of the chimney pot and the chimney liner attaches to the bottom of the cowl.

What is the register plate?

For the most efficient use of your wood burning stove it is recomended to fit a register plate to seal the chimney. The plate attaches to the top of your fire place to seal the bottom of the chimney and the flue pipe from the stove passes through the hole in the plate.

How does it fit together?

Additional Installation Accessories You May Require

Fire Cement

You will need fire cement to seal the joints in the flue. Air Brick You should have an air brick or ventillation kit in the room that your stove is in.

CO2 Alarm

You should always have a CO alarm in the room when using your stove. Smoke Pellets After you have installed your stove, you will need smoke pellets to test that there are no leaks in the flue system.

Can I install this wood burning stove?

For a competant DIYer this is a relatively straightforward job but it will require you getting access to your roof. Also wood burning stove installations do need to comply with the building regulations, for more information you can contact your local council. Also every stove we sell does come with a lot of information on using and installing your stove to give you a headstart.
